Butlin's Holiday Worlds - Summer 1996

This marvellous design shows you a bright brochure showing off all the glory of Butlins Holiday Worlds, my favorite era.

Here we see the advertisement of the funpool , the icon Redcoats, a sneaky hotel and all the extra's that comes with your booking.

This page shows the true beauty of the pools with the Redcoats being the highlight.

Butlins London Hotel

Shown in the photo, we see Butlins in London showing off its proud name.

Stephen Mulhern

As amazing person who continues to entertain those in Butlin's Minehead. He was one of the Redcoats that helped me during my times in the Holiday Worlds era. Here, he is featured on the second page showing his Redcoat uniform. Next to Stephan is a Redcoat named Mel, a chief hostess

Funfair

See the roller coaster rides that was once in Butlins.

The Diamond Jubilee

Celebrating Butlins with style, it was a large deal to the company.

60 Glorious Years!

Butlins is showing of a lot here with the swimming pool, Redcoats and the famous Butlins advertisement.

Note the Funfair rides and the locations of the camps at this time.

Bubsy

It was one of them locations that a lot loved to see.

The cable cars are also feature with the indoor funpool and outside stage.

Which one was you?

Special Notes

As far as I am aware, the two story lodges are no longer in Butlins.

The single story lodge was relocated in Minehead to the rear in 2020 for use of staff whilst the staff chalets were demolished. I am unaware if this is still the case today.

Special Notes

The building you see in the circle with the bumper boats is no longer in Butlins Minehead. This was removed in 1999 and replaced with a climbing frame and small area for children to drive bikes.

The Sunsplash swimming pool remains in place but unused since 1999.

The Mall in the square photo to the right remains but has been done since this photo.

The funfair remains in place but much smaller than what you see here.

The Monorail train photo is current showing the location where Burger King is today, showing how much has changed.

The top photo on the left is the outside stage, which is now the Burger King.

The middle photo on the left is Dino's! This now the Fish and Chips shop.

Notice the Wild Bills bar, that was in the Crazy Horse Saloon club.

The swimming pool that was design and built for Butlins Southcoast World to only be demolished in 2021. This photo show the true beauty of the pool and it was only fair that it showed off.
