Person video of our family at Somerwest world, Minehead in 1990. On this small clip, you get to ride the monorail and see the resort in the 90's. Take note of the current funfair location, which is all trees and grass during the early days of this era. The swimming pool is the stage area but what is interesting is the Wessex Room

This video shows key areas of Butlin's that is no more and very important to me as a collector. As you watch the video, you will notice so many changes. The Sundance at the start is now the Diner, The Sun Dance further in is now The Crazy Horse Saloon, Green Baize was a lazer zone but unsure if that remains to date (01/06/19), Malones was Pizza Hut (forgot new name), The main area shown here is now arcade, the swimming pool is the stage area, the monorail is long gone, the entrance to the monorail is part of the pavilion, the dinner is the fish and chips shop and so much more!

Who and What is Butlin's Memorabilia Website

Mark Banks is the individual responsible for the creation and ownership of this website, which showcases his collection of Butlin's memorabilia. It was developed in my spare time after work as a hobby and has since grown into a platform that brings joy to others. It is important to note that this website is independent from Butlin's and is not an official archive of the company. Furthermore, it includes stories, with the consent of the individuals involved, that recount memorable moments at Butlin's from both customers and former staff members. This website pays homage to the esteemed company and its founder, Sir William Butlin. Additionally, it provides information on the history of Butlin's, based on personal research.

Butlins Memorabilia extra areas
