I want to be transparent and mention that I was not aware of this club; however, many people came to my Butlins Story group and shared their stories about this wonderful club. By researching online, I found out that this club was launched in 1982 and was discontinued in 1987, just before the Butlins Holiday Worlds era began. The club was focused on entertaining children aged 5 to 10 and featured themed theatre shows at the holiday camps every evening. The entertainment show would include the Push Button Click cast, who would sing and encourage the children to enjoy the performances they put on. The shows also featured a time-travel robot known as Video Vera, which made the children believe they were seeing this amazing machine come to them with news of its discoveries. The characters from Push Button Click were Push Button Pete, Video Vera, and IQ.

Author Will Hadcroft fondly remembers The Push Button Click pantomime group that was part of the entertainment at Butlins during the 1980s. Featuring the original songs and Will's personal off stage recordings, he discusses what made Push Button Pete, Keeley and IQ so appealing.
