The loyalty club was introduced in Butlins during the Holiday Worlds era to reward those who regularly came to Butlins with a discount and vouchers for their stay. The idea was simple, receive a stamp of your stay in your Butlins passport, receive a badge that you collected and spend your vouchers in the locations that it was accepted.
In 1999, Butlins experienced considerable transformation as the Rank organisation, which owned it at the time, restructured the resorts into the new Butlins Family Entertainment Resorts. The Holiday Worlds era has ended, and Butlins is currently represented by three remaining resorts. The loyalty program continued, but the Loyalty passports and badge holder units were phased out.
